The roots of Industribrand date back to 1984 when Robert Lamons & Associates was established as a marketing communications consulting firm. The company was expanded in 1986 to a full-service business-to-business advertising and marketing company.
Throughout its 18-year history, RL&A served a variety of large, medium and small clients, consistently producing breakthrough creative programs based on solid marketing and messaging strategies. The firm gained experience in a wide variety of industrial and b-to-b markets, for products and services involving complex technologies and purchase patterns.
In 2002, Bob Lamons decided to close his agency to write the first-ever book on branding for business-to-business marketers. That book, The Case For B2B Branding, was published mid-2005 by Thomson Publishing in association with The American Marketing Association.
Following Bob’s return to Houston in late 2005, he began applying the fundamental processes outlined in the book for a select group of companies and associations, which led to the establishment of Industribrand in 2008.
